Ignite Waco (formerly Christ Lutheran Church - Waco Mission) is a church plant located in Waco, Texas at the intersection of the Landon Branch and Dean Highland Neighborhoods. We strive to let God lead us to be His "Lamp on a lampstand" and share the Gospel with others allowing God to Ignite the Holy Spirit in them. Our name and approach to growing God's Kingdom is inspired by Matthew 5: 15-16. We
believe "We are all saved with purpose" as we're reminded in Ephesians 2:8-10. We, and our two kids, moved here in August 2021 to live on mission for Christ as church planters to share God’s love and the hope of Jesus as a part of this neighborhood. We live on site at Ignite Waco (formerly Christ Lutheran Church) on the corner of MacArthur Drive and McFerrin Avenue. Our prayer is to become part of the surrounding neighborhood and allow God’s light to shine to our community, through us. As we try to meet our neighbors, and get to know each other, we want you to know that our whole community is in our prayers daily. We have opened our hearts for God to lead us in how we can grow His Kingdom and we will be His hands and feet however He leads us to.
