We continued with our series, A Good Secret, with the Parable of the 10 Bridesmaids! 📖

Jesus used this simple story to teach us that He is coming again—and we need to be ready.

Five bridesmaids were wise and brought extra oil. Five were foolish and weren’t prepared when the bridegroom came. 🕯️

The lesson? We can’t borrow someone else’s spiritual readiness. We can’t get to Heaven because of someone else’s faith. We have to know Jesus and be ready for ourselves! He WANTS to know us!

In the meantime, here on earth, we can store up extra oil to keep our lamps full by praying, reading the Bible, worshiping, and gathering with God’s people.

The invitation to the celebration is for everyone—we just have to accept it! 🤍

Daniel continued our series, A Good Secret, with the Parable of the Sower. 🌱

Jesus loved revealing the mysteries of the Kingdom through simple stories that people could understand—and Sunday, we were reminded that the condition of our HEART determines the harvest. ✍🏼

The seed is God’s Word, and the soil is our hearts. God’s Word never changes—but the condition of our hearts can. Like soil, our hearts can become hardened, shallow, crowded, or fertile.

Jesus, please SOFTEN our hearts toward You and toward those who have wronged us. 🤍

Help us grow DEEPER in You so that when trials and temptations come, we won’t turn away. ✝️

Help us not become so caught up in the cares, riches, and busyness of life that we “crowd” You out. ⏱️

Give us hearts that are soft, rooted in You, uncluttered, and ready to receive Your Word. When we humble ourselves and obey you, the harvest can be greater than we could ever imagine! 🙌🏼

This past Sunday, Daniel spoke about “A Good Secret” — the parable of the two foundations.

Jesus didn’t teach in a way that was over people’s heads. He used simple stories that people could understand when they would listen and take His words to heart. 📖

Jesus told about two builders—one who built his house on the rock and another on sand. The lesson is simple: don’t settle for a shallow faith. Dig deep in obedience until your life is firmly planted on the “rock”— which is Jesus! ✝️

Storms are going to come either way. ⛈️ Following Jesus doesn’t mean we’ll never face hard times. The secret is knowing that when the storms come, Jesus is our firm foundation and our cornerstone.

Build your life on Him, and you’ll have a foundation that will hold. 💪🏼
