thing we could have done for John’s health. You all have heard by now that John has
gone to his new heavenly home. We can now all rejoice together knowing he is no
longer suffering and no longer in pain. I received your gift in the mail yesterday.
What a kind and beautiful gift this was indeed. I love you all so very much.
Your Sister always, Eme Sulliv

BRO. JOE GORMANY will present the message:

TEACHING ABOUT PRAYER
1 Timothy 2:1-15

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—
2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior,
4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ
Jesus,
6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.
7 And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying—and a
true and faithful teacher of the Gentiles.
8 Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing.
9 I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes,
10 but with good deeds, appropriate for women who
profess to worship God.
11 A woman should learn in quietness and full
submission. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man she must be quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.
15 But women[ will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love & holiness with propriety.

“When Jesus is in the house.

Mark 2:1-12
1 A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home. 2 They gathered in such large numbers that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them. 3 Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them. 4 Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was
lying on. 5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” 6 Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves, 7 “Why does this fellow talk like that? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” 8 Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, “Why are you thinking these things? 9 Which is easier: to say to this paralyzed man, ‘Your sins
are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, take your mat and walk’? 10 But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the man, 11 “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go
home.” 12 He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!

Ephesians 2:1-4
1As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this
world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,

"Jesus Paid It ALL

Matthew 20:28

Man’s transgression brought sin and death into the world. Genesis 2:15 -2:16.

Genesis 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Genesis 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. KJV

I. The Scriptures tells us that God is a Holy God and must inflict His wrath upon sin. He is also a LOVING God and throughout the Bible, He has made provision to have sin atoned.
Isaiah 53:4 - Isaiah 53-6

II. Before sinful man can approach God, there must be some kind of atonement made for man’s sin. The need for Atonement. “Blood is LIFE” and that was required as the payment for our sin (death).
Leviticus 17:11

III. Christ paid the FULL penalty for all our sin.
Romans 5:6-10.
Note: Christ not only took upon Himself our sin and its punishment, but He also took upon Himself the Results of our sin. There is no need to suffer anything that Christ has already suffered on our behalf.
