Andrew Gunderson is a senior at Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo. He is studying Bio Chemistry and is very active in the Catholic Newman Center. He begin his Eudist discernment on the invitation of Fr. Azam. Andrew’s hobbies are snorkeling, skim boarding, surfing, hiking, mountain biking, reading, and volunteering his time.

Azam Mansha, CJM, joined over 200 vocation and formation directors for the 5th Conference on Human Formation: The Complicated Candidate: Navigating Personality in Discernment & Formation (August 31-September 03, 2026) at Saint Meinrad Archabbey, IN, in collaboration with the St. Luke Institute.

Fr. Azam describes the week as a valuable opportunity to enhance skills and knowledge in screening applicants and forming candidates. The Eudist Priestly Formation Team is committed to assist young men in responding generously and healthily to the call of Christ for the Priesthood within the church.
