THE SIMPLE JOY OF SITTING. Our practice this coming Saturday (2/15) will focus on how we sit in meditation. Can we find deeper joy and ease in our bodies? What effect does posture have on our awareness. Please bring a small cushion to put on your chair or a large cushion if you want to sit on the hard floor. John Rott will be your steward. Dear Sangha family, next Saturday we will practice letting go. We will let go of fears and barriers, we will let go of the false belief of an independent, lifetime limited self. We will use excerpts of The Diamond Sutra to let go go of what we no longer need and create space to practice a more authentic and compassionate experience.

We will light a fire to transform the pain and harshness of our pasts to nurture the Buddha nature that is working to help us arrive in the nirvana of now.
