We can’t wait for NCKids to help Neighborhood Church celebrate its 75th birthday this month!

As part of our work, we are going to build a community center in the Houston Neighborhood!

For over fifteen years, Neighborhood Church has partnered with families in the Houston community. We’ve crossed cultural and socioeconomic boundaries to build relationships, host dialog, and work together as neighbors to make life better for kids.

We’ve mentored students, resourced families, hosted parties, sent students to college, and even built a park! We’re so grateful for everything we’ve accomplished together with our Houston friends…but we’re not done yet.

This year, we are celebrating the 75th birthday of Neighborhood Church. We’re marking this milestone with a radical, fresh commitment of friendship with the Houston community.

How? Well, we’re literally going to move into the neighborhood!

You’re invited to partner with us as we launch The Neighborhood Community Center— a space where friendships are forged and our city is transformed. By investing directly in the Houston area, we are showing a commitment to our neighbors for generations to come.

Alright 5/6 graders! This month we’ll be having a movie night on 10/25 at 6:30pm. We’ll be watching The Nightmare Before Christmas! Rsvp to Lauren at 909-234-8240 and don’t forget to bring a blanket and jacket. The movie will be outside at Neighborhood. Snacks provided.

Yesterday NC Kids Preschoolers learned God had big plans for Noah and Noah trusted and followed God’s plan. God put a beautiful rainbow in the sky as a promise. They made a rainbow too in class! This is something that can be done at home too with paint, dot markers, or crayons!

Guess what is coming up…Hillcrest Pajama Christmas! This is one of our favorite holiday events, and Neighborhood is taking over Hillcrest on Sunday, December 18th from 6-8:30pm. Tickets will be available for purchase THIS Sunday on the link in our bio. They are limited so don’t wait!
