Congratulations to Abbie Zachary, called to serve in the Utah, Salt Lake City South Mission! She will be speaking in Mineral King Ward Sunday Sept 13th! Abbie shared, “I have a testimony that I know my Lord and Savior lives today. I know He is the healer, the prince of peace, and the way back to our Heavenly Father. I know that I can be an instrument for Jesus Christ as I serve my mission, and that He will help me to turn others toward his light. I have a testimony that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints is the true church, and that we have a worthy and sustained Prophet. Opening our hearts to the Lord, having faith, and keeping His commandments is His plan to lead us back into the arms of our Father.“

Welcome home to Maya Lopez returning from the Mexico Chiahuahua Mission! You can hear her speak in Riverway Ward on Sept 13th! Sister Lopez shared this about her mission, “I’m so grateful to have had this oppurtunity to strength my relationship with my heavenly father and my savior, who love and care for every step of the way. I know His time is perfect and will always strength us and bring us closer to him. And I know this gospel is true and the power it has to change your life with love, mercy, hope, peace, and happiness.”

Hi! My name is Emily Dean and I am assigned to labor in the Busan South Korea Mission 🇰🇷💕 I will be giving my farewell talk on September 13th, Sierra Ward نون at the Caldwell building!!

For me, this commitment has been a no-brainer decision because of how l’ve seen the words of God change me and others around me. I’ve seen how the mission allows growth and value to those who are willing to hear His message. I’ve seen this gospel heal families and friends. The love he offers us never expired. It never expires.

We can return to Him time after time with humility and surrender ourselves before God, and He will ALWAYS welcome us back home with open arms. Every Time. That is my why.

I am a part of the many 18-26 year old missionaries who have chosen to dedicate the next 18-24months of their lives to serve the Lord at max capacity in hopes to bring all of gods children together again. I hope to bless many with the opportunity to partake in religion and allow love and peace to fill every room they walk into.
So yes, I am sacrificing my time to serve mission. However, it was never a sacrifice, it was always a new opportunity for me to serve many people and allow myself to learn more about service, compassion, kindness, charity, and love.
