Everyone has a story—and all good and healthy stories must come to an end to make way for new beginnings.
The gift of life is that everyone has a story, and every story matters.
The challenge, however, is that no one gets the exact story they planned for. Yet, the beauty of life emerges when we see God at work in the tension and messiness of it all.
The writer of the ancient book of wisdom, Ecclesiastes, put it profoundly: “There is a time for everything under heaven…” The deepest truth in this is that timing is not ours to control—it is God’s.
At the end of 2024, I experienced the conclusion of one significant chapter and the beginning of a new one—for myself, my family, and the Imago Church Community.
As Lead Pastor, alongside our staff, leaders, and congregation, we took a step of faith by concluding our weekly traditional Sunday worship format. With open hands and surrendered hearts, we are stepping into a season of reinvention. In 2025 and beyond, Imago will transition into an online spiritual formation platform, seeking to engage those who may not connect with traditional church models. I am beyond excited to launch this initiative later this year!
To the Imago Community—you know exactly who you are. The Lord sees you and honors all of your dedication to his Kingdom over the years. These past eight and a half years of being your Pastor have been the most precious gift of my 21-year vocational ministry journey. You are embedded in my heart, and our journey of seeking the way of Jesus together will continue—always.
