He bore the punishment for all sin and cried out from forsakenness, 'My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?' He stepped into that darkness so His own would never be abandoned. When you lament, remember you pray to a Savior who has fully entered your suffering.

We easily share our struggles with everyone else, but often leave God out. If you're replaying pain, building arguments, and making assumptions, it might be time to bring it all to Him. Tell God what hurts, where you're stuck, where the waiting is heavy, and where you're afraid. The goal is not to sound strong, but to stay near to Him by being honest about all parts of yourself.

Vacation Bible School is at Echo Church!

This year’s theme is Illumination Station: Shining a Light on Who Jesus Really Is, and we can’t wait for a week of Bible lessons, games, music, crafts, snacks, and fun as kids learn about Jesus!

VBS is FREE and open to kids 3 years old through 6th grade.
