Who’s Got the Power?

Do you feel confident and powerful each day? On September 11, 2001, Americans felt vulnerable and afraid. In a sense, terrorist completed their objective. Instill fear in their enemies and erode trust. It was a day where people of great courage stood up against the evil that claimed near 3,000 lives. People saving others at the expense of their own lives. In this podcast, we talk about in impact the attacks on 9/11 , then look over at Exodus to the crossing of the Red Sea to see who really had the power. Our hearts remember this day, 25 years ago. Today may we pray for and remember all who were lost, honor the first responders and service members who faced the unimaginable, and recognize the resilience of a nation that would be forever changed by the events that day.

Let us pray for those facing moments of uncertainty.
Let us pray for those grieving the loss of a loved one.
Let us pray for the medical and rescue teams, that they may be strengthened and guided by God.
Let us pray for the Church of Christ, that, united, it may bring help and extend its hands with love, support, and solidarity.
