Our website is https://rockwell.church Our worship services are an hour long and include singing, prayer, and an encouraging Bible based message you can apply to your life. We have a 12,000 sq ft worship center on 20 acres of land on Hwy 53 in Midway right on the border

of Eveleth and Virginia near the new Rock Ridge School complex (our church property is across the street from the baseball field). We offer childrens and youth ministry, Sunday school for all ages during the school year, and weekly Bible studies for men and women. We have been faithfully serving the Iron Range for almost 125 years as Eveleth Baptist Church (established in 1900) and Virginia Baptist Church (established in 1903) as both churches merged in 1976 as Emmanuel Baptist Church. Forty-six years later in April 2022 the church members voted to change our name to Rockwell Church with a new motivation to Connect People of All Ages to Christ the ROCK so together we could live WELL Lives (Worshiping, Encouraging, Learning and Loving). We are part of Converge (formerly known as the Baptist General Conference).

This Sunday at Rockwell Church, we’ll explore what it means to spend your life on something greater than yourself.

As we gather on Memorial Day weekend and celebrate Pentecost Sunday, we’ll remember both the sacrifice of those who gave their lives for others and the coming of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2. Together, these reminders point us to a powerful truth: a meaningful life is found in living for something greater than yourself.

Through the story of David’s mighty warriors and the coming of the Holy Spirit, we’ll discover how God takes ordinary people and fills them with courage, faithfulness, and purpose.

If you are one of our neighbors or are here up north for the holiday weekend, we would love to welcome you. Whether you attend regularly, are visiting family, camping for the weekend, or simply looking for a church to attend while away from home, you are invited to join us.
