Prairie Roots Schoolhouse is eager to see who is ready to be a part of our inaugural year at school! If you have a child who will be entering PreK4-8th grade in the fall, we would love for you to fill out an interest form. While we are currently planning to serve students PreK4-4th grade this upcoming year, we’d like to see if there is a present interest for middle school grades. (Our intent is to add a grade level each year up to 8th grade.)

If you feel our micro school fits your vision for your family’s future—we invite you to fill out the interest form posted in the comments.

GOOD FRIDAY

Betrayed
Abandoned
Mocked
Beaten and kicked
Spit on
Flogged and whipped
Skin torn
Bleeding

A crown of thorns hammered onto his head
Face battered
Mocked and humiliated again and again
Continuously abandoned

Told to pick up the very cross he’d soon be nailed to
Made to carry it almost a 1/2 mile
Again mocked, humiliated, spit on

Laid down upon that cross
Hands pierced as the blunt jagged spikes were driven through His wrists

Feet together hammered to that cross with a large spike

The Cross stood up
Dropped into the ground
His limbs unjointed as it fell
His words- Father, Forgive them for they know not what they do

6 more hours of excruciating torture, abandonment, mockery and humiliation

“It is Finished” He stated

Isaiah 53:5 : "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed

Today is GOOD because none of us are good enough. Today is GOOD because we deserve that death. Today is GOOD because of His Love for you and I!

John 3:16- For God so loved world that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
