Take the City 757 Take the City is not an event but a movement. We are called to take cities & capture nations with God's love. The LORD your God will give it into your hand.

2 Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. We believe that it is our duty to follow the commission that Jesus gave to us to GO and to share the good news with anyone willing to hear. JOSHUA 8:7 - You are to rise up fr

om ambush and take the city. We have gatherings where people from local churches meet each month and go do outreaches all over the city. Here are a few of the things we typically do on a monthly basis:
-Street Ministry
-Homeless Ministry
-Kids in Lower income neighborhoods
-Retirement Homes
-Prayer Ministry with Firehouse House of Prayer

Our Beliefs:::
-We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
-We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
-We believe in the deity of Christ, in the virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
-We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
-We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
-We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
-We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are so proud to partner with Every Home for Christ. Check out these stats...

Can intentional focused faith filled prayer bring measurable results? A few people at Every Home for Christ ministry recorded these numbers.

1. Homes Reached

-7 years before specific prayer was organized, EHC teams reached 106 million homes
-the last 7 years with focused specific prayer, EHC teams reached 330 million homes with the Good News!

*212% increase than in the previous 7 years once intentional focused prayer was added with evangelism.

2. Responses to the Gospel through the outreaches with heightened focused prayer:

-7 years before w/o specific prayer, EHC saw 7 million responded to the gospel that is one million a year. So thankful

-7 years after focused intercessory prayer, the results shot up sharply to 51 million people responding to the Gospel. This is more than 7 million people responding to Jesus as Lord and Savior per year.

*626% increase once strategic focused prayer was added.

3. Church plant initiatives saw similar increase around the world after prayer intentionally partnered with the proclaiming evangelists.

-5 years before prayer 9,800 new church fellowships. That number was almost 2000 per year. So encouraging at the time.

-Then with 5 years of greatly increased prayer focus, the numbers went to 84,200 new church fellowships.

*Remarkable +758% increase

The convergence of the mission partnering together with intentional purposeful prayer brought powerful measurable results. Perhaps what worked for them, will yield similar results for others.

Take the City is a movement that is impacting cities all over America. Our mission is to unify and mobilize the churches in cities to to take the gospel of Jesus Christ into their cities and see those cities forever changed. We want to invite you to this powerful one day training event where you will be encouraged, equipped and activated to share God's love with people everywhere you go!

This training will involve times of worship, prayer, training, activites and outreaches out into the city. People of all ages and from various denominations are all welcomed to this training event. Our primary focus is to help equip every-day followers of Jesus Christ to grow in sharing the gospel and impacting the world around them.

Make plans to join us October 5-6 at Regent University Chapel for an amazing night of worship, some great training then a life changing time sharing the worth of Jesus to hungry people all over the Southside.

Please share this with your church and friends and stay tuned for more information. This summer we will hold a series of information gatherings to help mobilize teams from all over the area. We are believing for over 100 churches to partner with us.
