Will I see my loved ones in heaven?
This question was a part of the teaching as we introduced our “Endtime Faith” teaching series on yesterday at Life Unlimited. As a part of this introduction on the rapture of the saints or the “great catching away, our foundation scriptures were based on
1 Thess 4:16-17 and 1 Cor. 15:50-55.
While it comforts us to hopefully see our love ones that have passed, the scriptures don’t emphatically provide that support even though we have tried to incorporate that theological perspective along with our church cliches and rhetoric. You see with a transformed and glorified body there is the high probability of a transformed memory. The same thoughts, the same affections for others, the same level of reasoning may not accompany us into this new dimension. So it is highly possible what and who we’ve come to know on earth will not be recognizable in this heavenly dimension. In other words, you won’t miss what you cannot remember due to going from mortality to immortality.
Dive deeply with us as we search the scriptures to understand our future while strengthening our Faith. We will explore this more in depth this Tuesday at our interactive Bible Study. Join us in person at 7pm.
