There comes a point where you stop whispering what God said and start declaring it with confidence.

Over the last several weeks in our Walk it Like I Talk It series, Pastor E has challenged us not only to understand the power of confession, but to confront the very things that keep us silent, hesitant, fearful, doubtful, disconnected, and inconsistent in our proximity to God and His Word.

Because confidence in confession comes from knowing Him. His will is His Word. His Word is truth. And when you truly know what God said, you stop speaking in contradiction to it.

“Say It With Yo Chest” was more than a sermon title… it was a charge to boldly proclaim what Heaven has already spoken.

Sometimes you have to pause and reflect on the goodness of God.Not just for what He’s doing now, but for who He has always been.

Through every hard moment, every silent battle, every season where we could’ve lost our minds. God prepared the way and kept us.

“Walk it Like I Talk It: Say It With Yo Chest!” 👏🏾🔥
Today’s message reminded us that our confidence doesn’t come from ourselves it comes from the Lord. His Word is His will, and when we truly know His Word, we can speak boldly with faith, authority, and conviction.

But in order to “say it with our chest,” we have to stay in God’s presence. We have to build an intimate relationship with Him through prayer, obedience, and time in His Word. Confidence in God is developed through connection with God.

When you know what God said, you won’t hesitate to stand on it.

“They recognized that they had been with Jesus…” 🔥Not because of their status. Not because of titles. Not because they were polished or perfect. But because when Peter and John opened their mouths, they sounded like Him.

This message challenged us deeply because confession doesn’t just reveal what’s on your mind… it reveals where your loyalty stands. What comes out of us in pressure, hardship, frustration, lack, disappointment, and uncertainty identifies whose report we truly believe.

When life starts lifing… what are you saying?When your marriage is struggling… what are you confessing? When your money looks funny… what fills your mouth? When your children, career, business, or emotions feel under attack… do your words sound like fear, doubt, and instability… or do they sound like God?

Because eventually your confession will expose what side of the field you’re standing on. This word from Pastor E in our “Walk It Like I Talk It” series was convicting, stretching, and necessary.

There are moments in scripture where Jesus spoke against what everyone else believed they saw. They said the daughter was dead… Jesus said, “She’s sleeping.” They said Lazarus was gone… Jesus said, “Our friend sleepeth, but I go that I may awake him.” Sometimes what looks finished in our lives is only sleeping.

Sleeping faith.
Sleeping purpose.
Sleeping joy.
Sleeping confidence.
Sleeping obedience.
