“Fierce”, “Graceful”, “No Games”, “Powerful”, “Sincere”, these are just a few of the adjectives used by the congregation of Real Life Church to describe their Co-Pastor Lisa Woolston. Lisa hails from Newport News, Virginia, where she spent her formative years. She honed her servant leadership skills in various roles in church, and later as law enforcement and Crisis Pregnancy Center Manager and su
pporter. Lisa is an ordained minister and Regent University School of Psychology alumnus, well equipped for her ministry of inspiration and discipleship. Her passion for coaching others on their journey to wholeness is the catalyst for her providing mentorship to small groups and individual women through practical life application, often using her own personal trials and triumphs as a template. Her ministries of encouragement, words of wisdom and instruction have provided opportunity for her to minister nationally and internationally, with the greatest part of her ministry being neither planned nor orchestrated, but more of a confidant to those who desire anonymity and intimacy when being ministered to. Lisa is bold and very courageous in her resolve to share her love and passion for Jesus Christ, especially in her ministry to singles, “True love originates in personally knowing Christ's love, transferring that truth to your heart, mind and soul, and then outwardly to others. This formula is effective in enlightening singles to see that a person should never complete you but instead compliment your existing whole state. – Lisa Woolston”
Her desire through this conference is that women would realize and accept that we can only be the sum of all of our parts. Meaning, despite the trauma, hurt, violations, disappointments or injustices we have experienced in our lives from childhood to present day - every experience and trial has a purpose and function in our journey to wholeness. Our victories, triumphs and accomplishments have no depth or constitution without embracing the frailty of our humanity. Lisa’s primary mission is to succeed each day as the God intended helpmeet to the love of her life, her best friend and Senior Pastor, C. Todd Woolston. Together they have four beautiful daughters and two dogs.
