You know if the people who wanted me to vote for them only can tout abortion at any time you get around to it as a reason to vote for them I would find someone else to vote for. Taking the life of a baby is murder. Just ask your heart if I’m not right.

Hello, friends! We are starting 2024 with Tuesday Evening Classes! Join us tonight 7pm at New Life Church Kempsville Campus. We hope to see you there!

Tonight’s class will be about “P U R P O S E”
“You are told to follow your dreams and do what makes you happy. But no self-help method, improvement in status or finances, is going to feed your spirit. You were designed to have your spirit fed. Our spirits are not designed to be satisfied by non-spiritual things.”

There has never been a better time in history to serve the Lord. Many would love to have a greater ministry or ministry impact and certainly I would too. But I am realizing The Lord is looking for men and women to stand and choose Him. Not for ministry sake, rather to stand and say I serve Him because I Love Him. That’s our calling. And I believe that if we do that , others will seek to find out why. And without trying we will see souls saved and lives changed. Not because we have created a great ministry but because we have become witnesses and testaments to what He has done in, and for, us. The scripture tells us gross darkness shall cover the earth and the people, but for us to arise, for the Glory of the Lord has risen upon you!! Jack

We went to see “His only son”. It was good! But in the end God spared Isaac and provided a lamb in his place. We are so thankful for the Lamb that was provided in our place 2000 years ago!! Thank you Jesus!!
But I could not escape the realization that when the time came and Jesus had to suffer and die, in great humiliation and shame, no one intervened for the Father as His only Son, who was innocent, had to die on the cross.
So as Easter comes once again and we celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus, “His only Son”, let us thank the Father as well for giving us His only Son in our place.
“For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son”.

“Loving God more and getting closer to Him should be the top priority of our lives. Anything else that becomes a top priority is an idol. An idol can be anyone or anything we place our affection and trust in above God. Our most important resolution should be to keep Him first in our lives. This is a constant battle. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 10th and Thursday, January the 12th at 7:00 pm at the New Life Church Kempsville Campus in Virginia Beach. All are invited to come and attend these classes. John Picataggi’s class will be on Tuesday nights. The subject of this class will be: WHERE HOPE IS FOUND. ( John says, “If you’re wondering what that means come find out”)
Jack & Joanne Picataggi will share the teaching responsibilities on Thursday nights. The subject of this class will be: THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Come join us as often as you can, even if you’re not able to come every week, we would love to have you. Classes are going to be free of charge.

I figured it was past time that I give you a little update on how my progress has been. First thank all of you for your prayers and support. As you know, in May 2021 I suffered a stroke, which at the time, caused my life to change. I could not walk at all. I could not use my right hand and if I were totally honest with you my head was somewhat confused. Since that time I have made great progress, first walking with a walker, then on to a cane and then finally on my own. Always leaning on Joanne the whole time.
I have continued to heal and have in this time made great progress. The pictures you see are from bain September of 2021. The one with my son John, Joanne and I went out to Captain Georges to e nd. acfielebrate some progress back when I was using the cane as you can see. Fortunately I have not needed the cane for a while and my walking has become steady and strong. Right arm strength is good but I would like it back to full strength.
I’ve lost some weight, which is good, but some of the weight is muscle and I could use getting some of that back. My main prayer request is that I still deal with what I call “brain fog”. It is not as intense as it was at first but when doing work on the computer or anything that requires concentration I have to press through it.
Now I’m really doing well and I am believing for full restoration of my strength and capacities. I am so thankful for life and function and the blessings of the Lord.
Thank you once again for all the prayers and good wishes that were prayed and sent our way. They certainly worked!!
