This one-day conference was aimed at helping provide preaching pastors, lay elders, seminarians, or any men interested in preaching with a blueprint for faithful exposition and preaching. This years guest speaker was H.B. Charles Jr., pastor of Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL.

SSBC family,

It came later than expected, but the difficult weather has arrived. The elders have decided it is in everyone's best interest and safety to cancel all activities tomorrow at the church. We'd like to encourage you and your household to gather for a time of worship and devotion in the home. Some suggestions for that time include all or a combination of the following:

1. Read Scripture together. Read 1 Corinthians 15 and perhaps revisit some of the earlier chapters in 1 Corinthians.

2. Pray together. Pray for SSBC. Pray for our corporate witness to each other's neighbors, family, and friends. Pray for our collective witness in the community.

3. Sing together. Put on some of your favorite worship songs or sing acapella.

4. Revisit a past sermon. Another option would be to revisit a previous sermon on our website or youtube page.

***Important Schedule Update***

SSBC,

We are still planning to gather tomorrow at 10:30am. However, in order to relieve the pressure on as many volunteers as possible, there will be no core seminars prior to service and no children’s ministry during our gathering.

Salt was laid down today in preparation for whatever winter accumulation we may get. Lord willing, see you tomorrow!
