Wow! It’s been an amazing 2+ years of seeing people meet Jesus and journey with Him, discovering the more they were made for. Since we celebrated our last Sunday on September 15th of this past year, this page has served to help the people of Journey continue to connect. As with all things but God, nothing lasts and nothing is finished. As we close out this year, we will also be closing out this page and our FB Group. Even though these spaces will close, remember, the journey continues…

CELEBRATE JOURNEY'S FINAL SUNDAY 9.15.24

March 20, 2022 we launched Journey with the mission to see people meet Jesus and journey with him, and over the past two and half years we’ve seen hundreds of people come through the doors on a Sunday morning, finding hope to discover the more they were made for.

We’ve given over $27,000 to our strategic partners, helping the homeless in our area through PiN Ministry, providing hope and help for kids in the Dominican Republic through One Child, and resourcing the launch of new churches on the east coast through Waypoint Church Partners.

The most exciting number for me is 27, soon to be 28; we’ve seen 27 people come to faith in Jesus, being baptized into him, averaging almost 1 person per month entering the kingdom during our existence.

Journey has made an impact in so many people’s lives from meeting Jesus, to growing in faith, to building relationships, and doing more good in the world and locally.

As we celebrate all these great milestones and stories of Kingdom work, we want to continue to highlight the work that God has done in us and through us as we celebrate our last Sunday together as a church on September 15th.

You’re getting this email because at some point you’ve played a part in making Journey great and I wanted to personally invite you to our final Sunday, September 15th from 9:45-10:45am at SK8 House as we look back and look ahead.

Remember when I said “Soon to be 28”? I’m excited as we close out our time as a church we will be going out with a bang, doing what we set out to do from the start, seeing at least more person give their life to Christ in baptism!

I can’t wait to see you on Sunday, September 15th!

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7

We won’t experience spiritual change and growth if we don’t train and practice—but that takes time, dedication, and endurance. We need to be consistent in doing the things that God asks us to do, including reading God’s Word and talking to Him. Thankfully, when we belong to God, He helps us.

Today, take some time to talk with God. Ask Him to empower you by His Spirit towards power, love, and self-discipline.
