My Life Matters purchased the Virgilina Schoolhouse.

We are renovating the property to create a camp, retreat, conference, and event center that our ministry and other collaborative partners can use for years to come.

Afterglow at the Schoolhouse this Saturday was so good. 🙌 We had an incredible day with our students and we’re grateful for every moment.

Check out the amazing progress on the Schoolhouse out in Virgilina! This will serve as our camp and retreat center. In fact, this summer we are holding our middle school and high school camps there throughout the month of July!

We're so encouraged by the many volunteers and donors that have poured hours and days and weeks into this place so we can continue to share the gospel with students in fresh spaces.

But the journey is far from over. We still need willing workers to help continue restoring the Schoolhouse and we need donors to fund projects. Want to get involved with the Schoolhouse? Contact Matthew Acree at [email protected]

There are only two more workdays before we start some summer programming at the Schoolhouse!

May 16th will include an open house and hotdog lunch. Come and see the property and hear about what we are doing!

June 13th will be a day of deep cleaning! A celebration of the work that has been accomplished!

The workday last Saturday was so good!

The work team from Mount Harmony Baptist was great addition to our usual core group of faithful volunteers!

We had a productive day, but even more than that we had a great time of fellowship and encouragement!
