Yesterday was such a special day at Willow Oak as we celebrated 23 years of God’s faithfulness.

We worshiped together, shared a meal, looked back on years of memories, and had a lot of fun with the hand game!

More than anything, it was a good reminder that we are all connected. Different people, different generations, and different stories, but one church family in Christ.

We are so thankful for everyone who has been part of Willow Oak over the years and for all God continues to do among us.

23 years. So many faces, so many memories, and so many reasons to give thanks.

As we celebrate Willow Oak Christian Church’s 23rd anniversary, we’re grateful above all for God’s faithfulness. Through every season, He has given us the opportunity to worship together, grow in His Word, pray for one another, serve together, laugh together, and share life as a church family.

Looking back through old pictures is a reminder that a church is so much more than a building. It’s people. It’s children growing up, meals around tables, songs sung together, Bible studies, special Sundays, friendships, prayers, and countless ordinary moments that become treasured memories.

These are only a few of the memories we’ve collected over the years. We’ll be sharing many more this Sunday as we look back together and celebrate all that God has allowed Willow Oak to be part of over the past 23 years.

To everyone who has ever been part of the Willow Oak family, whether years ago, today, or perhaps for the first time this Sunday, we’d love for you to join us August 23 as we celebrate 23 years of God’s faithfulness, with a covered dish following worship.

Come remember with us, worship with us, and maybe make a few new memories too.

We’re thankful for another Sunday of worship, fellowship, and time together in God’s Word.

This Sunday, we continued our study through Colossians and were reminded that Jesus is the Creator of all things, the Head of the Church, and the One who reconciles us to God through the cross.

Take time this week to read Colossians 1:15–23 and remember: in Christ, all things hold together.

Join us Sunday as we continue through Colossians!
