Union Christian Church, I Pastor Norman Talley have been advised by a lawyer that if I was forced to resign because some people thought I had health problems that was wrong. I have presented documentation to the church stating that a medication I was on after my hospital stay had adverse effects on me but was disregarded and was still asked to resign. On February 1st, there will be a called meeting at 9:30 that all workers that were against me will be asked to resign. My name in Halifax County has been slandered and I am deeply hurt by this. Some people say that the church business shouldn't be on Facebook but when Facebook has been used to hurt my reputation I take it very seriously.

As some of you may not know I was asked to resign as pastor of Union Christian Church by the deacons during my time of sickness. I want each of you to know that my heart has been in growing and working for the Lord at Union. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you need me.

There will be a few Baked Chicken plates available for those that can’t eat pork.

Please feel free to eat in UCC fellowship hall and stay until 3 and join us for singing by Kelly Ratcliff followed by a message by Frankie Reaves. A love offering will be taken during this time.
