Ladies, we will be starting a study with Priscilla Shirer's ELIJAH this summer! Check out the link below to get your book. We are considering doing this study with both virtual and in-person options. I'm very excited for us to be challenged by God through this study to be a voice of boldness, confidence, fierce faith, and fire....like Elijah! Whew!! Hope you choose to be a part!

Old Testament heroes are best known for their most celebrated moments: Moses dividing the Red Sea; David slaying Goliath; Gideon routing an insurmountable army; Joshua marching around the defiant walls of Jericho. And Elijah—calling down fire on Mount Carmel. Blinded by the remarkable narratives o...

Ladies, just a reminder that our event tonight has been cancelled due to a funeral visitation going on at the church.

Ladies, out of respect for our dear friend Herb Moore who has passed away, we will be postponing our event so as not to interfere with the Moore's family visitation taking place the evening of the 30th. We'll keep you posted as to when the event will be rescheduled!

Good Morning! In my quiet time this morning I read from Exodus and wanted to share what jumped out to me to encourage you this week. It appears to me that Moses felt unworthy to step into God's purpose for him to deliver the people of Israel. Moses gives many excuses to convince God He has called the wrong person, and God graciously and patiently continues to assure Moses as he refutes every excuse Moses gives. In chapter 6, God tells Moses to go before Pharaoh and tell him to let His people go. Moses responds and says, "How will Pharaoh listen to me, for I am of uncircumcised lips?" (vs. 12). As I thought about that, I related to his doubt and question....God, I've done things in my past that make me unworthy to be used by you....I'm not good enough....people know the 'real' me and have judged me...I'm not like so and so....
The uncircumcised lips reminds me of another passage....Isaiah 6, verse 5-7. Isaiah answers the call to be used by God but recognizes he is lost and a man of unclean lips. An angel retrieves a burning coal from the altar of God and touches Isaiah's lips with it, thereby atoning his sin and removing his guilt. I love that picture.
Praise God for His redeeming love and grace that looked down through time and provided us all atonement through the blood of Jesus Christ! We all have sinned and fallen short of God, but God demonstrates His love for us in that while we were sinners Christ died for us! And we are His workmanship, created in Him to do works which He has prepared in advance for us to do.
Praise God that He has taken away our guilt, atoned our sin, and has a great plan and purpose for each one of us. I only need to walk confidently in the belief that I am God's girl, saved by grace...He loves me and has called me to do great things for Him. I can do it, without excuse, because He does the work through me. I recognize His power at work within and through me, remain humble in heart, and praise Him for His ultimate deliverance!
May you live out your purpose and calling with confidence, humility and joy today ladies! Have a great week!
