Hey parents!! Just a heads up- we are wrapping up our MESSY! series tonight with some crazy fun messy games 😎 (all food products, nothing that shouldn't wash out) It'll be a night they won't want to miss! 😄

This month in kidZONE, we're learning to focus less on what we want and more on what God wants. Then, even if things don’t go our way, we can still be content. At bedtime this week, read 1 Kings 21:1-27 with your child. Help them ask God to guide their hearts and thoughts to things He has already given them, rather than allowing their mind to go in circles about what they don’t have.

Hmmm, maybe the grown-ups need this little prayer too! ;)

Anybody confused about the current workings and ins & outs of kidZONE??? How we do things in kidZONE has changed a little over the last six weeks and we hope to continue with these changes throughput the next six weeks as well! So here's an update on a few things you may not know about yet:
•The children's ministry as a whole is now being called NTBC kidZONE
•NTBC kidZONE is made up of 5 different age group based areas.
• wakeZONE- nursery care for birth through 2 years old. Our wakeZONE is currently being led by Jackie Houston during service 1. We are in need of a volunteer to lead during service 2.
• primeZONE- preschool children age 3, 4, and 5 (that have not entered kindergarten yet). Our primeZONE is currently being led by Cinde Fleisher and assisted by Diane Etter during service 2. We are in need of at least one more volunteer to assist Cinde during service 2 each week. We are also in need of 2 volunteers to commit to leading our primeZone kids each week during service 1.
• launchZONE- elementary kids in grades kindergarten through 3rd grade. Currently, launchZONE is led by Josh & Ashley Spradlin during service 1, and Jacob & Brianna McMillan during service 2.
• impactZONE- elementary and middle school kids in grades 4th, 5th, and 6th. Currently, impactZONE is being led by Josh & Ashley Spradlin during service 1, and by Matt & Mandy Hutchinson during service 2.

Hey parents!! I hope you'll find this group to be an informative yet casual way to stay up to date on all that's happening in kidZONE! One of the goals for this year as we work through transition is better COMMUNICATION between kidZONE leaders, kiddos, and parents. Social media can be a great tool to help us achieve that! We encourage you to ask questions here anytime and engage in convos with leaders! Just remember, anything largely negative or sensitive should be discussed in private- either via direct message, phone, or face to face. Thanks so much for letting me serve your kiddos; it is a privilege to help lead them to the feet of Jesus!
