This post can be read in less than two minutes. I hope you enjoy.

How can I know if the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ has made His Home in my heart?

“For the Holy Spirit was not given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.” John 7:39

According to Saint John, the Holy Spirit was not given yet because Jesus was not glorified.

The presence of the Holy Spirit in your heart, relationships, and your church can be seen through the HONOR given to Christ Jesus.

If Christ is honored in these areas of your life, it is proof of the Holy Spirit's presence. On the other hand, and alarmingly so, if Christ is not glorified, it indicates the absence of the Holy Spirit.

In your daily routines and amidst the chaos of the world, do you find a strong desire to know Jesus more? Do you long to be near Him?

If so, it means that Jesus is already glorified in your heart, and if you have crowned Him there, His dominion extends to every aspect of your life.

The Holy Spirit is intimately connected to Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said that the Spirit would glorify Him.

The work of the Holy Spirit is to magnify THE MAN CHRIST JESUS in our minds and hearts.

The Spirit strengthens our love for Jesus and reassures our hearts that we belong to Him and will be glorified with Him.

To put all this together the presence of the Holy Spirit can be known through the honor given to Christ Jesus. If Christ is glorified in your heart and life, it is a sign that the Holy Spirit is present. Seek to know Christ more and allow the Holy Spirit to work in and through you.

To the struggles of a conquering soul,

In John 6:16-21, we see Jesus walking on the water, approaching the disciples in the boat but they thought He was a phantom. This was the second time Jesus dealt with His disciples on a stormy Sea of Galilee. In the first storm, Jesus was present with them in the boat, and He rebuked and calmed the storm. In this storm, Jesus asked His disciples to trust His unseen care and concern for them. The wind disrupted their efforts to cross the sea, and the sea arose because a great wind was blowing. When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near the boat, and they were afraid, but He told them, “It’s only Me, don’t be afraid!”

The Christ in you helps to face storms in your life. We must remember that Jesus is the One who can calm the storms precisely because He is the One who liberates us from sin, death, and hell. We must trust Him and recognize Him as the captain of the ship we sail upon.

The absence of Christ is the greatest storm we can face, but we must remember that He is always with us, even when we cannot see Him. “God is like a person who clears his throat while hiding and so gives himself away,” said Meister Eckhart.

Peace arises in the believer that comes to understand Jesus Himself is the wind and the waves and the storms. He is much closer than we think and deals with us more kindly than we deserve. With His strength navigating through us, we face the storms as we must learn the lessons that God wants us to learn about His character and trust Him to bring us to the inward place in the Holy Spirit, where we delight in Christ in our journey of faith.

Our fears and struggles will turn into joy if we obey Him because the storms do not last forever. We must worship Him and cry out, “Truly you are the Son of God,” “Truly you are the Son of Man,” just as the disciples did when they saw Jesus walking on the water.

Sorry everyone there was no audio on the CD today, but this was a great message. If you get the chance ask Micheal to share the analogy of being a seed with you it was very good.
