❤️ Sunday Morning Recap ❤️

This morning, we were challenged through the story of David, Nabal, and Abigail in 1 Samuel 25.

Nabal was known as a foolish man because when David was in need, he chose to selfishly hold onto what he had rather than help. Abigail, however, was willing to give, sacrifice, and boldly speak up. David was ready to act out of anger, but because Abigail was willing to intervene, she helped stop him from making a foolish decision that could have affected his reputation with the Lord.

🙌 Two important reminders from today’s message:

1. We must be willing to admit when we are wrong.
Admitting that you’re wrong isn’t a sign of weakness—it is a sign of strength.

2. We must practice Golden Rule living.
Treat others the way you would want to be treated. Don’t repay evil for evil or insult for insult. Instead, we are called to respond differently and be a blessing.

Sometimes God may use someone in our lives to stop us, correct us, or help us see things differently. The question is—are we willing to listen? ❤️

❤️ Sunday Morning Recap ❤️

God Sees What We Don’t See

What a powerful reminder from Pastor Ben’s message this morning: we don’t always see what God sees.

Our perspective is limited, but God sees deeper. Throughout Jesus’ ministry, He saw beyond someone’s circumstances and saw the person.

In 1 Samuel 16, Samuel was looking for the one God had chosen. David wasn’t the obvious choice. He was the youngest, out in the field, and overlooked by others—but God saw him.

🙌 Three things to remember:
1️⃣ We don’t always see what God sees.
2️⃣ God sees your heart.
3️⃣ God sees the unlikely.

You may feel overlooked, not enough, or disqualified—but remember David.

What others overlooked, God saw.
What others dismissed, God chose.
What others couldn’t see, God already knew.

God sees you differently than people see you, and we are called to see people differently too. ❤️
