🌱 FPC Students Wednesday Night Recap! 🌱

What a great night! We started with some competitive volleyball 🏐 before heading inside for a powerful time of worship. That led us into hearing Pastor Ben’s testimony and continuing our Deep Roots — Week 2 series! 🙌

We were reminded that God’s Word doesn’t just give us information—it gives us direction. 📖

🌱 You become what you feed.
💡 God’s Word gives you guidance.
❤️ Don’t just read the Word—let it read you.

The goal isn’t simply to know more Bible verses. The goal is to become more like Jesus.

“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.” — Psalm 119:105

Let’s keep digging deep and growing strong in God’s Word! 🌱📖🙌

🌱 FPC STUDENTS | WEDNESDAY NIGHT RECAP 🌱

What a night! 🙌 We kicked things off with a game of Nukem before heading inside for a powerful time of worship and diving into God’s Word!

This week we kicked off our new series, DEEP ROOTS — Week 1: ROOTED 🌳

We talked about what it means to have our identity rooted in Christ. The world will constantly try to tell us who we are—through social media, friends, school, popularity, and even our mistakes. But when our roots are deep in Jesus, we don’t have to let the world define us.

🌱 I am who Christ says I am.
🌱 I am forgiven in Christ.
🌱 I am God’s workmanship.
🌱 I belong to Christ.

Just like a tree with deep roots can stand strong when the storm comes, our faith needs roots before the storm comes. Deep roots produce strong faith! 🌳

📖 “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong…” — Colossians 2:6-7

And we had a GREAT turnout last night! 🔥 One of our students said, “Tell people on Facebook that we had 5 rows out tonight, but we can add more!” 😂🙌

THAT is the energy we want! We want to see those seats filled with students who are getting rooted in Christ. So keep that energy going and invite your friends this week! 🪑🔥

Today we’re celebrating Victor as he officially turns 18! 🥳

Vic is such a bright light in our FPC Students family. He worships hard, faithfully prays for others, and loves diving deep into God’s Word with us every week. We are so thankful for the way he seeks after God and encourages those around him. ❤️🙌

Vic, we can’t wait to see what this next year—and this next chapter after high school—brings for you! We know God has great things in store. Keep chasing after Him and being the light He’s called you to be! 🔥
