These words are at the heart of Rabbi Caryn Broitman's newly published book, a work that reclaims sacred text as a space for dialogue, transformation, and moral courage.

Pre-order your copy at https://bit.ly/4tQv2wx, and save the date for Sunday, August 2, when Rabbi Broitman will be in conversation with Rev. Cathlin Baker of the First Congregational Church of West Tisbury at MVHC. Together, they will explore how our sacred texts speak to the challenges we face today.

The event begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free, and tickets are required. Stay tuned for additional information.

All are welcome.

The 2026 Annual Fund Campaign is nearly complete. Thanks to the generosity of this community, the Martha's Vineyard Hebrew Center has raised more than 94% of its $400,000 goal.

We are grateful for every gift that has brought us to this point. With $24,892 remaining and our campaign closing on May 21, there is still an opportunity to be part of what makes MVHC a thriving, welcoming home on the Vineyard.

Thank you to the Social Action Committee of the Martha's Vineyard Hebrew Center!

Their twice-monthly meals for our winter shelter guests brought consistency, care, and community to each visit.

We are grateful for this dedicated partnership.
