“If you’re alive and moving, your prayers SHOULD change.” —Pastor John Justice

Just as we are constantly growing and changing, moving “from glory to glory” and from “faith to faith”, our prayer life continues to develop over time, as do the things we are praying for.

La imagen de "pastor" que aparece en la Biblia es una metáfora. Y como metáfora no se debe tomar literal. Eso quiere decir que la gente no son ovejas ni borregos, ni ese "líder" puede disponer de las personas como el pastor de animales que las lleva donde quiere.
Y si quieres ser pastor, debes saber que;

1. La admiración de la gente es circunstancial. Cambian las circunstancias, te mueves un poco de sus expectativas y verás como termina "la luna de miel" entre la gente y tú.

2. La decepción hacia ti es inevitable.
Algunos se decepcionarán de tus enseñanzas, de tu "poca atención" a sus problemas, de tu poco tino en tus consejos y de otros motivos... "No me saludó en mi cumple" "No fue a visitarme cuando estuve enferma" "No puso like a mi venta de emprendimiento", etc. De las buenas observaciones aprende, de las demás, no lo tomes personal.
Muchos buscan un ser divino y cuando sepan que no lo eres, se irán a buscar a otro.

3. Concéntrate en abrir la Biblia con responsabilidad y pasión.
Un coach gana mucho dinero compartiendo la misma charla en diferentes lugares por meses.
Un pastor debe compartir una charla diferente todas las semanas y mantener el mismo nivel de calidad para lograr que la gente aporte tiempo y vida desde su gratuidad.
Cuánto vale ese trabajo???
Mucho!!!
Es posible que pocos lo valoren, pero tú sigue fiel a la pasión por abrir las Escrituras y Servir a Dios

4. Muchas personas que vendrán a pedirte consejería, esperarán que les digas "Qué hacer" "Querrán que los guíes", como si fueras un GPS.
Sé cauto y resiste a la tentación de ser directivo. Ayúdales a que se hagan responsables de sus vidas.

5. Muchos corazones agradecidos querrán ayudarte. Que Dios te de discernimiento para que sepas la motivación última de esos gestos.
Si es cariño desinteresado.
Si es ayuda para recibir luego algo.
Si es ayuda para luego filtrar a otra gente no interesada en tu vida cosas de tu intimidad.
Sé sabio.....

6. Sería lindo que fueras tú mismo con la gente que conforma tu comunidad, pero la experiencia me ha mostrado que muchos no están preparados para eso.
Busca un par de consiervos o amigos que no se asusten cuando te vean cansado, herido y solo... cargando toda tu miseria humana.
