Hey Ladies! Are you looking for fellowship and a way to grow your faith? We are excited to begin a Women's Bible Study on September 23rd. This Bible Study group will be using studies published by Walking with Purpose, a Catholic women's apostolate. WWP uses the Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church to help women grow in their Catholic faith with each other. SPECIAL REMINDER ABOUT LITTLE LEARNERS
As we begin a new school year, parents are reminded that Little Learners is intended for children ages 3-6. Children preparing for (2nd grade in most cases) or have already received their First Holy Communion should remain in church with their families and participate in the Liturgy of the Word. Our classroom is at full capacity, so we want to focus on having sufficient space and environment for the 3-6 year-olds.
Additional leaders are also needed for the Little Learners program during the 11am Mass. Teams of two adults prepare and present a short lesson each Sunday for 3-6 year olds at the St John rectory. Please contact Pat Earley at the Parish Office for more information or to sign up. At least four active teams of two allow for our volunteers to lead a class once a month. At the present time we have only three active teams. We deeply appreciate those volunteering for this ministry!

Our Greatest Need for September: Gift Bags for our Parishioners in Nursing Homes or Homebound--We have 42 parishioners who are either homebound or in the nursing home. We are looking for donations of complete gift bags for each of them.

It might not feel like it this week 🥵....but Autumn in the Woods is quickly approaching and we need YOUR help! October 4th will be the big day! We are looking for volunteers to help and also individuals and/or groups/families who would be willing to take the lead of an area/activity, such as a game, set-up, drinks, decorating, etc. We will assist the leader of each area in any way needed. This past Monday, Father Clint celebrated the Holy Mass at the
St. Rose Adoration Chapel in order to switch out the Eucharist inside the chapel's monstrance. Several parishioners took part in the Mass.
If you haven't signed up for an Adoration Hour, please consider doing so.
We are in great need of filling several time slots throughout the week, especially early morning and the 2nd & 4th Saturdays.
Each time slot that gets filled brings us closer to a perpetual Adoration chapel and the blessings that come with it!
We are so blessed to have this special place to encounter the Lord. Spending just an hour each week in Adoration could make a huge impact on your life, strengthening your relationship with the Lord and growing your faith!
