Without Beth Riley, one of the original founders of The House of Victory Recovery Center, we wouldn’t be the program we are today.

Today marks one year since she passed.

Her vision, her love for Jesus, and her love for the lost and broken led her to pour out her life for others — and she did it so joyfully.

There’s no doubt that she impacted more lives across the world than could ever be counted.

As we remember and honor her today, we’re reminded that we only have one life to live on this earth. We must choose to live it well — putting Jesus first and putting others before ourselves.

As we continue to see lives transformed every single day, we will never forget that thousands of people have had a place to find Jesus and find recovery because of the sacrifices she made.

One of her favorite Scriptures was Nehemiah 8:10; “… the joy of the LORD is your strength!”

She exemplified the old acronym for JOY:

J — Jesus first
O — Others second
Y — Yourself last

May we continually strive to do the same!

We will never forget the life she lived, the sacrifices she made, or the legacy she has left behind.

A quote from “Bait of Satan,” which is one of the classes we teach our residents.

Unresolved offense becomes a relapse in heart before it ever becomes a relapse in behavior.

In recovery we are confronted with unhealthy thought patterns that lead to unhealthy behaviors, and we are held accountable and sometimes told “no.”

If every correction turns into an offense, accountability starts to feel like an enemy.

Real recovery teaches us how to process correction and deal with offenses in a healthy way so we don’t open our hearts to deception.

We offer a safe transition from incarceration to a structured 6 month Christian based intense discipleship program.

After graduating the program, we also offer transitional housing or will help the graduate transition into their own home.

We’re here to serve you and your family — we believe there is no one “too far gone,” and that God can restore anyone who is willing to surrender.

Whether incarcerated or “on the street,” our program is available to help you or your loved one.
