In this message from Colossians 1:24–25, we continue our study of the supremacy of Christ by examining Paul's example of faithful gospel ministry. Having established the supremacy of Christ in creation, redemption, and reconciliation, Paul now turns to the suffering and stewardship that accompany the proclamation of the gospel. We will see that faithful ministry is often costly, requiring a willingness to suffer for the sake of Christ and His church, yet it is also a sacred trust given by God to proclaim His Word faithfully. Through Paul's example, believers are reminded that ministry is not about personal ambition, popularity, or worldly success, but about faithfully serving Christ, stewarding His truth, and advancing His kingdom for His glory and the good of His people.
