Altar of Grace Church would like to thank those who have blessed us with the ability to pay for expenses through tithes and offerings! We have been able to meet our obligations covering two months operating costs, as well as, deposits and fees to turn things on. Someone also donated money for the sign which has just been installed on the face of our building. No money is being paid out in the form of salary. Our prayer is to meet our monthly expenses and progress in new God-led goals. Our next project will be to fix a small portion of our roof which will be around $600. We then plan on focusing all our efforts on the men and women’s restrooms which will need to be built. Our Father owns “the cattle on a thousand hills.” (Ps 50: 10) God has blessed us with so many miracles which have established this ministry! We pray that He blesses each person who has helped and will help accomplish His new work in Ville Platte.

This Sunday, we will not be having regular 5 pm evening services. Our worship service will be moved to Sunday morning at 9am for Resurrection Sunday! Everyone is welcome!

Praise God! The sign (4 by 24ft) for the front of Altar of Grace Church has been ordered. It should be installed in about two weeks. The logo for this work God is putting together has also been designed. In addition to it being on our sign, we intend on using it for our other promotions and stationary. We thank you for your continued prayers and support!

God continues to work miracles. One of the most profound blessings He has done for Altar of Grace Church was to bless us with over 1200 jars of honey. Sister Sheri Benoit has been a great encouragement to us. In addition to blowing the shofar over our church, she introduced us to Bennett’s Honey Farm located in Filmore, CA. When Sheri told Chip and Taydee Vannoy about what God was doing through Altar of Grace, they gave us the honey and shipped it to us for free. The honey is being given out to people as a gift from the Lord as we tell them about our church. This gift has been a great blessing! Thank you!

Many miracles of God have taken place which led to the formation of Altar of Grace Church. We are working quickly to prepare our new building so it can be used to it’s fullness. Our goal is to host Sunday morning worship as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone who has and is helping us!

We would like to thank Mr. Greg Tate and his family for being such a blessing to our church family. Tate’s Men and Boys Clothing store served Ville Platte and the surrounding areas for over fifty years. Their product was always of great quality and their service was that of thought and consideration. It is a honor to establish our church in the same building where the Tate family used their business to help so many!

Our Tuesday Night Prayer Meetings (6:00PM) truly are prayer meetings. We began by praying for God’s presence and His direction. We may worship with a song or even have a brief teaching, but the majority of the evening is focused on prayer. We pray with targeted prayer. These prayers are themed as the Holy Spirit leads. We also pray for the city of Ville Platte and surrounding areas. There is also given an opportunity for prayer requests. Each request is prayed for specifically. Our desire is for God to change us and those we pray for unto His greater glory.
