As summer approaches, we wanted to remind you of this very true statement. “Until sin is bitter, Christ cannot be sweet.” Meaning, until you hate your sin, Christ will never be center of your life. You can’t love your sin and fully pursue Christ at the same time.

Matthew 6:24 explains this best, “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other.” Now this specific scripture is referencing the love of money but can be applied to ALL sin.

As you enter summer, our prayer for you is that you keep Christ in the forefront of your mind, always, no matter where you are. We pray that you learn to despise your sin and turn to God for all your needs. Lastly, we just pray that you have a fun, awesome, safe summer! We love y’all!
