Yesterday we recognized our 2026 graduates!šŸŽ“ We are so proud to bless and celebrate their hard work, achievements, and accomplishments with prayers and special gifts.

After the service, we wrap up the 2025-2026 school year! šŸŽ‰ Our children and youth families came together for an incredible End of Year Celebration. We had 30 wonderful people from 7 families join in on the fun, making it the lunch time of laughter and connection.

The energy was high with a moon bounce, ping-pong matches, games, and plenty of delicious pizza! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and make the day so special. Wishing everyone a fantastic and safe summer ahead! ā˜€ļøšŸ•šŸ“

What an incredible and blessed Mission Sunday we had last Sunday! Our church family came together in a beautiful way to share Godā€™s love and extend a helping hand to those who need it most. Through your incredible generosity, we successfully packed UMCOR Buckets hosted by the Deaton Family and UMCOR Hygiene Kits coordinated by the United Women in Faith (UWF)ā€”supplies that will bring tangible hope and comfort to families navigating difficult times.

We also want to send a massive thank you to everyone who stayed to help create our VBS decorations! Your creativity and hard work are going to make this year's Vacation Bible School absolutely unforgettable for the kids. Whether you donated items, packed a kit, or cut a prop, thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus and making a difference in our community!

This Sunday, May 24th, 2026. Common Grounds will resume to discuss on, "200 Years of United Methodism: An Illustrated History" in Common Grounds: Adult Discussion this Sunday, May 24th, 2026. There is no requirement to read the book to participate in the discussion. Join us as we share our profound thoughts and deep understanding of God.

We meet after the Sunday service. You can join in person in the library or via Zoom. Participants sign on and gather at 11:05 (or whenever you can make it). Thereā€™s 15 minutes of conversation before the discussion begins at 11:20, and we end promptly at noon. Just drop in and join the discussion!

The class is taking Sunday May 31 off to support the Mission Sunday work in the Fellowship Hall.

Thank you to all those who joined the recent ā€œBecoming a Dementia Friendā€ session. Our next program will be on Wednesday, September 9 at 10:30 am. Brad Duty, Services Advisor of the Virginia United Methodist Foundation will lead a session about faithful giving.
