WHAT CAN YOU NOT GIVE UP FOR GOD? ❤️📖

We make time for the things that matter to us.

We make time for work.
We make time for hobbies.
We make time for entertainment.
We make time for vacations, ball games, shopping, and everything else that fills our schedules.

But here is a question worth asking:

What can you NOT give up for God?

Sometimes serving God means giving something else up. It may mean giving up an hour of sleep. It may mean missing something we wanted to do. It may mean rearranging our schedule so that worship, Bible study, prayer, and service to others come first.

Jesus reminds us where our priorities belong:

“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33 (NASB95)

The question is not whether we are busy. We are all busy. The question is whether God is important enough to come first.

One day, the things that seem so important right now will not matter. Our schedules will not matter. Our possessions will not matter. But our relationship with God will matter for eternity.

“Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.” — Colossians 3:2 (NASB95)

Before saying, “I don’t have time,” ask yourself:

What am I unwilling to give up for God—and is it really more important than Him?

Remember what is truly important.
Remember what lasts.
Put God first. ❤️
