He is the founder of Fitrah Publishing and the Outreach Coordinator for Islam in Prison which is a division of Al Furqaan. This program is open to everyone insha’Allah but RSVP is required. Yesterday MIC joined with St John’s Episcopal church and other local churches for their annual Thanksgiving service. Alhamdulillah it was a great event where local clergies in the area were able to join together and host a beneficial service. One of the MIC youth members also gave an outstanding speech on the things they were thankful for!

*Starting TONIGHT (11/3),* please join us for a weekly Qur’an Discussion Group led by Shaykh Abdul-Malik Merchant insha’Allah. Please note that this group will begin after Isha and Isha will remain at 8 pm after the time change. **For this Monday, Shaykh Abdul-Malik will direct reflections towards youth and encourages all high school students to attend insha’Allah. **

Towards the Hereafter is a class on Islamic spirituality inspired by Imam Ibn Qudāmah al-Maqdisī’s Mukhtaṣar Minhāj al-Qāṣidīn (Towards the Hereafter). It is a journey of heart and soul—cultivating sincerity, humility, and remembrance. Through reflection and practice, we explore how the path toward Allah refines the self, balances awe with trust, and deepens our longing for the eternal.

*Please join MIC and Heal Palestine this Sunday (8/10) at 7 pm* for a community fast and program on the current crisis in Palestine. This program will be at the Community Hall at St. Thomas Episcopal and is open to Muslims and Non-Muslims.

Program will be followed by Maghrib and Iftaar insha’Allah. RSVP is required and spaces are limited.
