Christian Covenant Church 🙏 Stand Strong - Don't Waver - Fully Commit
⛪ Worship Services Sunday at 10 am Christian Covenant Church, previously known as Mt. Witcher and Pastor Luella P.

Carmel Community Church, was founded in 1988 by Bishop Timothy L. Witcher, who has been serving the church for over 50 years. Committed to serving God through Jesus Christ, the church has been serving the Victorville community as a community of believers ever since. As a Christ-centered, Spirit-led, Bible-focused, and Family-oriented fellowship, the church aims to meet the needs of the whole perso

n—spirit, soul, and body—by extending the love of God to all. Our vision is to reconcile the community and the world to God through Jesus Christ according to His established order. With a mission to serve as a resource for people seeking to understand the meaning of serving God, the church equips individuals to become productive citizens of the kingdom of God through Bible-based teaching, training, leadership, and opportunities for growth. By loving and serving God and our neighbors, being salt and light in our communities, and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, we hope to bring glory to God.

Faith is more than positive thinking or hoping for the best. Biblical faith is trusting God, standing on His Word, obeying His direction, and keeping our eyes on Jesus, even when we cannot see what lies ahead.

So, where does this kind of faith come from? And what does it look like in our everyday lives?

Read our latest blog, “Unshakable Faith: The Origin of Faith,” to discover how faith begins with God, becomes a way of living, and keeps its eyes on Jesus.

When the winds and waves get loud, where is your focus?

Peter walked on water as long as his eyes were on Jesus. But when he focused on the wind and waves, fear replaced faith, and he began to sink.

Yet Jesus didn’t abandon him. He reached out and rescued him.

That’s the reminder we need: our faith isn’t dependent on our own strength or favorable circumstances. Faith is confidence in Christ, even when circumstances frighten us.

Keep your eyes on Jesus. He is the One who upholds us.

What does it really mean to have Unshakable faith?

Faith isn’t positive thinking or simply hoping for the best. Biblical faith is confident trust in God, His Word, and His promises, even when we can’t see the outcome.

In Sunday’s message, Pastor Teresa reminds us that faith begins with God, grows through trust, and leads to obedience. Through Noah, the Israelites at Jericho, and Peter walking on water, we see what happens when we choose to trust God even when our circumstances tell us to be afraid.

The key isn’t having faith in a particular outcome. It’s having unwavering confidence in Jesus.

Keep your eyes on Jesus. He is the source, object, sustainer, and destination of our faith.

Watch or rewatch Sunday’s message, and share it with someone who needs a reminder to keep their eyes on Jesus.

🌱 Plant a Seed and Watch It Grow 🌳

Every great tree starts with a seed, and our faith journey is no different.

Someone planted a seed in us. Someone introduced us to Jesus, encouraged us, prayed for us, or simply showed us what it means to follow Christ. As we grew in faith, we became fruitful. And now, we have the opportunity to plant seeds in someone else.

The trees in this artwork represent our Christian journey, from the seeds planted in us to the fruit that grows through us. 🍎

Who planted a seed in you? And whose life can you impact by planting a seed today?

🌱 Plant the seed.
💧 Nurture it with love and God’s Word.
🌳 Watch God bring the growth.

“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.”
1 Corinthians 3:6

What happens to your hope when life doesn’t go the way you expected?

When circumstances change, it’s easy for our hope to change with them. But what if lasting hope isn’t found in better circumstances at all?

There’s a difference between hoping things will get better and having a hope that holds you steady when they don’t.

So where is your hope anchored?

In this week’s blog, discover three ways to hold on to a hope that outlasts your circumstances.

Don’t put your life on hold waiting for everything to get better.

We may not know when things will change, but we know WHO holds tomorrow.

Hope gives us the confidence to keep going, keep seeking God, and live faithfully today while trusting Him with tomorrow.

When life feels uncertain, where does your hope come from?

In “Unshakable Hope: Hope That Outlasts Circumstances,” we were reminded that fear, anxiety, and circumstances beyond our control don’t have to steal our hope. Our hope is anchored in an unshakable God who remains constant, sovereign, and faithful no matter what we face.

Whatever you’re facing this week, don’t panic; pray. Keep trusting God, even when you don’t have all the answers.

Your circumstances may change, but God doesn’t. Because He is unshakable, your hope can be too.

Watch this message and be encouraged. Then share this message with someone who needs a reminder that their hope is secure.

Midweek Reminder: We are blessed beyond measure to be able to worship our God freely.

Pastor Thomas reminded us on Sunday of what a privilege it is to lift our hands, sing His praises, pray, and boldly proclaim our faith without fear.

Let’s not take that freedom for granted. Thank Him. 🙌

What if thriving isn’t about escaping the battle, but learning how to stand firm in the middle of it?

As believers, we live in a world where we face opposition from the enemy, our own flesh, and the pressures around us. But when we are surrendered to God, we don’t have to fight in our own strength. God gives us the power to overcome.

James 4:7–8 reminds us: Submit to God. Resist the devil. Draw near to Him.
