“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.” — Psalm 139:23

Devotional

The journey of alignment with God’s will begins with surrender. David invited God to examine every part of his heart—not just the visible areas, but the hidden places as well. Often we ask God to bless our plans before asking Him to reveal His plans. God desires truth in our innermost being. When we allow Him to search us, He reveals attitudes, fears, motives, and desires that may be preventing us from walking closely with Him.

Today, resist the urge to defend yourself before God. Instead, invite Him to shine His light into every corner of your heart. His examination is not for condemnation but for transformation.

Refocus Point

Ask God to reveal anything in your heart that is hindering your relationship with Him.

Prayer

Father, search my heart today. Reveal anything that does not reflect Your character. Give me the courage to receive Your correction and the grace to walk in Your truth. Amen.🙏🏾

Tribute to Bishop Rodney Hutton 🙏🏾

It is with a heavy heart that we share the transition of our beloved brother and friend, Bishop Rodney Hutton. Though our hearts mourn, we rejoice in knowing that a faithful servant has returned home to be with the Lord.

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” — Psalm 116:15

Bishop Hutton lived a life of dedication, love, and unwavering commitment to God’s people. His voice, his wisdom, and his compassion touched countless lives. Today, we honor his legacy—a legacy of faithfulness, integrity, and servant leadership.

Even in our sorrow, we stand on the promises of God:

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes… there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying.” — Revelation 21:4

May the peace of God surround his family, loved ones, and all who feel this deep loss. May His comfort strengthen us and His presence sustain us in the days ahead.

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him.” — Psalm 28:7

We celebrate a life well lived, a race well run, and a servant well used. Rest in glory, Bishop Hutton. Your impact will continue to live on in every heart you touched.
