This coming Saturday, the Church marks the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary; however, it’s not a Holy Day of Obligation in 2026. The Vigil Mass will be offered on August 14th at 7:00 PM, and the Mass on the feast day will take place on August 15th at 10:00 AM. Come and join us to honor our Blessed Mother and seek her intercession. On Friday, August 14th, Confessions will be regularly offered from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Este próximo sábado, la Iglesia celebra la Solemnidad de la Asunción de la Bienaventurada Virgen María; sin embargo, no es un Día de Precepto en 2026. La Misa de Vigilia se ofrecerá el 14 de agosto a las 7:00 PM, y la Misa del día de la fiesta tendrá lugar el 15 de agosto a las 10:00AM. Vengan y únanse a nosotros para honrar a nuestra Santísima Madre y buscar su intercesión. El viernes 14 de agosto, las Confesiones se ofrecerán regularmente de 10:00 AM a 12:00 PM.

Very Rev. Jorge Garcia has been appointed as the new Vicar Forane of the High Desert Vicariate, effective July 1, 2026.
We thank Father Jorge for taking on this additional responsibility within the High Desert Vicariate.May the Lord continue to bless him abundantly, guide his decisions, and support him every step of the way in this new assignment.

El Muy Reverendo Jorge García ha sido nombrado como el nuevo Vicario Foráneo del Vicariato del Alto Desierto a partir del 1 de julio de 2026.
Agradecemos al Padre Jorge por asumir esta responsabilidad adicional dentro del Vicariato del Alto Desierto. Que el Señor lo siga bendiciendo abundantemente, guíe sus decisiones y lo sostenga en cada paso del camino en esta nueva misión.

Join us on Friday, June 12th, on the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, at 7:00 PM, for a special bilingual Mass to renew our devotion to Christ's love and mercy. This is a sacred opportunity to consecrate our parish of Holy Innocents and its parishioners to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, praying for the unity and grace of our community.

With gratitude to Almighty God, we celebrate the 18th Anniversary of Ordination for our spiritual father, Fr. Jorge. Thank you, Father, for bringing us closer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Please join us in prayer and thanksgiving as we honor him on this very special day. May the Lord continue to bless his sacred ministry and guide his every steps.

P/s: we will dress in 1940s style for a fun trip back in time (get ready to smile at all the vintage flair and maybe a few accidental time travelers!)
