We'll be holding a stew fundraiser on Sunday, December 12th at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Victoria! Quarts of stew will be available to-go for $12. Pre-purchased tickets are available at the St. Mary's rectory. All proceeds benefit our chapter, including our re-chartering fee. Thank you for your support!

Fathers and sons, we are gearing up for a new year of growth in our Faith through supporting our sponsoring parish - St. Mary's, camping, hiking and other activites - iron sharpening iron.

We will have a father only planning meeting at the St. Mary's Annex on Wed, Oct 28 at 6pm

Thank you to everyone that supported our Troops stew fundraiser today. Sold 199 quarts today and close to 100 loaves of cornbread.

A special thank you to KofC 1329 for donation to help offset meat purchase and especially to Donald Shellenbarger and Joe Rainosek for helping us prepare the stew. You guys taught us a lot.

Nice weather in Ganado this weekend. Spent time identifying plants. Marvelled at the fire starting properties of pine fat wood. Nice session of apologetics. Rosary by the fire. Overall good time.

Enjoyed the presentation today from Mike and Alicia Hernon on Messy Families. Mike emphasized importance of dad's role in developing healthy family culture at home. I'm looking forward to listening to their podcasts. This message could serve us well as we dedicate time to our sons through TSG.

Our first campout of the year will be at Buescher State Park near Smithville in October. We will have opportunity to fish and hike, and will be close to Bastrop State Park where 2 years of piney forest regrowth will provide an interesting hiking experience.

If you or someone you know is interested in joining our Troop, we will have a cookout on Sept 21 to discuss the new year and welcome any new members. More info to follow....
