Incarnate Word Convent welcomed The Serra Club of Victoria on May 30, 2026. The Serra Club hosted its Annual Hamburger Luncheon. All of the Religious Sisters of the Diocese of Victoria were invited to attend. The afternoon was filled with great food, faith, and fellowship. Thank you to the Serra Club of Victoria.

Order of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament participated in an LCWR Another 100 Days of Prayer, Fasting, and Advocacy for our Global Environment. Our days of commitment were May 23 - May 31. 2026. During this week, Sister Marian Sturm, OVISS, led the sisters in reflective prayer and resources provided by the Laudato Si' Movement. Sister Rosalyn enjoys planning menus, cooking, baking, making jellies, and canning pickles, squash, and pears. This particular afternoon, she had some help from her cousins, Sister Lois Marie and Sister Clementine. They had a wonderful afternoon pickling!

On this Memorial Day of our country and the Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, Sisters celebrated with a special Mass that included a remembrance of the fallen soldiers from all branches of the military. Father Albert Yankey invited the Sisters to light candles in memory of their family members who served. The Sisters also offered prayers of intercession to Mary for those who continue to serve our country in war-torn areas.
