CWV Post 1269 had ten members present as we began the Memorial Day remembrances honoring those armed forces men and women who sacrificed everything for our nation. The ceremony lowering the US Flag to half-staff took place this morning at the Victoria County Courthouse.

Seven members of Post 1269 proudly honored our deceased comrades today in preparation for Memorial Day 2026. US Flags were placed at the gravesites of all Veterans interred at the Catholic Cemeteries in Victoria, TX -- May the souls of our faithful departed comrades, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

The Diocese of Victoria and the Order of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament have partnered together to host a vocation discernment camp for high school girls (incoming freshmen through graduating seniors). This camp is from 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 21st, through 12:00 p.m. on
