Is your heart strengthened or hardened in the Labor and Trials of Life? (Mind, Will, Emotions, Thinking) • 8/25/26
✨ Take a Moment to Reflect
Your daily strength, stamina, resilience, divine pliability, and endurance come from the Lord. We can try to be strong in ourselves, we can push through, and we can even win the temporary moment, but we can never overcome the Eternal Way of Life and Liberty without Christ!
Think about that. 👇
⚔️ The Nature of the Battle
The ultimate War of Life is won, but the daily battles continue until Jesus stamps this time as the end. Until our Christ returns for the final battle, we battle and overcome in two places:
1. Inside the temple of ourselves.
2. Against the enticements of ungodly influences.
We overcome strictly through the Strength given to us as the Children of God, those Born Again in Christ.
This strength allows us to WALK by Faith in His Word. The Eternal Word is our weapon of defense, and it wins TODAY in our lives.
⚠️ A Warning from History
Apostle Paul reminds the church in Corinth that the history of the Israelites was written down so we would know the will of God and be warned about what not to do! (1 Corinthians 10:6-10)
The Israelites did not live in our modern environment, but they wrestled with the exact same thing we deal with daily: the "flesh."
In the New Testament, "Flesh" is simply your own effort and human reasoning relied upon for daily existence.
🛑 The Danger of Self-Reliance
If you are Born Again in Christ, think about this: When you live life by the leading of the "Flesh," you actively reject the very Might and Strength of the Lord.
The result? You become Hardened, not strengthened!
A hardened heart is the very foundation of rebellion and disobedience against the One you call Lord.
Brothers and Sisters, Be Strong in the Lord, not Hardened.
A Strong Heart in the Lord is built on:
* Dependency
* Surrender
* Sacrifice
* Submission to His might and will, not your own!
And He is forever Faithful to His Name's Sake! 🙌
