Happy Back to School Week! Many of our TC kids started school last week, but many start today. We want to say a special prayer over our students, teachers, and staff of each school.
Heavenly Father,
As our children head back to school, we place each and every one of them in Your hands. Go before them into every classroom, every hallway, every lunchroom, every bus ride, and every new experience.
Give them peace when they feel nervous, courage when they face something difficult, wisdom as they learn, and confidence to be exactly who You created them to be.
Lord, surround them with good friends and caring teachers. Protect their hearts, their minds, and their bodies. Help them make wise choices, show kindness to others, stand up for what is right, and never be afraid to let Your light shine.
For the child who is excited—bless their excitement.
For the child who is anxious—calm their heart.
For the child starting a brand-new school—help them feel that they belong.
For the child who may struggle—remind them that a hard day does not define them.
Bless our teachers, administrators, coaches, staff, bus drivers, and every person who will pour into our children this year. Give them patience, strength, wisdom, and compassion.
May this school year be filled with growth, friendships, laughter, learning, protection, and opportunities to see Your goodness. Most of all, remind our kids that wherever they go, You go with them.
We pray over every backpack, every classroom, and every child as they begin this new school year.
Lord, lead them, guide them, protect them, and use them for Your glory.
