Matthew 6:33 KJV
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

This verse is part of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, where He emphasizes trust in God over anxiety about material needs. In the preceding verses, Jesus addresses worries about daily necessities—food, clothing, and shelter. He contrasts this with a higher priority: seeking God’s kingdom and His righteousness.

To “seek first the kingdom of God” means to prioritize God’s will, His ways, and His righteousness in your life. This is not just about external behavior but a heart fully aligned with God’s purposes. Seeking His kingdom involves living according to His Word, trusting His sovereignty, and making His reign the center of your life.

The promise here is that when we put God first, He will provide for our needs. It’s a call to trust that God knows and will take care of what is necessary for our well-being, so we can focus on living righteously and in alignment with His

Isaiah 9:6-7 KJV
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. [7] Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Wishing you all a joyous Christmas filled with the warmth of His love, the peace of His presence, and the hope found in Christ's birth, death and resurrection.

We are grateful beyond words that Sheila is home from the hospital, on the path to recovery. Wishing her strength, comfort, and swift healing. We are thankful for all your prayers and support!🙏

This verse is part of a larger passage in which the apostle John is urging his readers to avoid sin, but at the same time acknowledging that everyone is prone to sin. He reminds us that we have an advocate with God the Father in the person of Jesus Christ, who intercedes on our behalf when we do sin. The verse emphasizes the importance of faith in Jesus Christ as the means of receiving forgiveness and salvation.

Gabe Monroe sent me a text requesting prayers for this faithful family. Their trail is today. Please remember them.

“Please pray for an African husband and wife who were arrested at the beginning of the month for sharing the gospel and for apostasy from Islam. They’ve had their children taken away and have been held without bail in harsh conditions ever since. Their court date is tomorrow – sometime in the middle of the night our time. Their lawyer isn't like-minded but seems willing to be a fair advocate for them. Would you please pray for miracles? They need a Daniel kind of third option! It looked like it was either pray or die – either the king disregard his law or allow his friend to be eaten. The third option was God shut the mouths of the lions. How unexpected! So join us in praying for an outcome that is unexpected and exceedingly above what we could ask or imagine. May they have continued faithfulness, boldness, and hope. May His Name be honored and His sheep guarded from the wolves.”
