What a beautiful day for a hike. 15 souls took to the trail at Dunnavant Valley Park in the chilly weather. We hiked 3 miles and enjoyed each others company while listening to words from the Holy Bible. Our next hike will be March 7th at Turkey Creek. More info to come…

Come join us for our first holy hike in 2026. We will be meeting in the parking lot of Shelby County Dunnavant Park @ 9:00am on February 7, 2026. The park is located at 1185 Dunnavant Valley Rd, Birmingham, AL 35242. The hike should be over by 12:00 pm. We will be hiking to the waterfall. Come and enjoy God's beautiful creation as we read scripture from the bible.

October 4, 2025 Holy Hike
We had a great turnout for our hike at Tannehill State Park. Most of us stayed for a picnic lunch and ice cream.

Please join Saint Stephen's at Tannehill Ironworks Park for our October 4, 2025 Holy Hike. The hike is around 3 miles on fairly level ground. We will meet at the Old Store @ 9:00am. Please bring a picnic lunch to enjoy with your fellow hikers after we finish the hike.

What a way to spend Saturday morning, paddling a canoe up the Cahaba River and then the little Cahaba River. The weather was perfect!!! A big thank you to the Cahaba River Society and Wil Rainer for putting the trip together. Wil made sure that we understood why this watershed is so important to the residents of Alabama.

Please join us this Saturday (June 7th) for a short hike at the Shelby County Cahaba River Park. Hopefully, the Cahaba Lilies will be in bloom. This is a short hike of three miles with very little elevation gain.
We are meeting at the pavilion on Highway 251. We hope to see you there.

Saint Stephen's Holy Hike on April 5th will be at Red Mtn Park at 9:00 a.m. Please come and join us as we visit this very special place. During each hike, we read from scripture and partake in Holy Communion.
