, Baptist and worship on the seventh day of the week, Saturday, God's Sabbath, with a blending of contemporary and traditional styles. Our church had its start in 1804 when the first Seventh Day Baptist families migrated from Rhode Island and settled in what was then called "the western wild". Other families soon joined them and by 1809, they formed themselves into what was then commonly called a "religious society". Finally, by 1820, these and more families who by then had moved to Verona felt led of God to be formally organized as a church. We're glad that you are part of that story by being a part of our page!

Friends and Facebook followers: Verona Seventh Day Baptist is offering baptism at the end of the worship time this Sabbath. If you have given your heart to the Lord, but have never followed through with the Bible's teaching and example of people believing and then choosing to be baptized (covered over) with water as a public profession of your faith and commitment to live life in Love and Loyalty to Christ, you are welcome to come and also be baptized. Baptism doesn't mean you are joining the church, just proclaiming your faith in Jesus. Simply text 315-264-4411 and let Pastor Russ know that you are interested in participating."
