Our new baptistry is coming along... complete with two turtle-doves. (joking, of course)
With the warmer weather construction around us has resumed. We look forward to what God has planned for our church and the new neighborhood we are blessed to minister to.

WE ARE CLOSED TODAY DUE TO THE ICY ROADS
Our 9:15am church service today has been canceled. Driving in to church today at 7:15am, all overpasses were pure ice.
I will be at the church for anyone who needs prayer or did not see this posting in time, but avoid traveling if at all possible. Be safe.
We will post the sermon online before 3pm on both our Youtube and Rumble channels. See our website for those links.

At this time we feel it is still safe to have our 9:15am service. According to The Weather Channel, it will only be rain and above freezing between 9am and 11:15am. Everyone is welcome to attend but if you feel safer staying home, please do. We will have our service recorded and placed online by 3pm. Stay safe and warm. Lord Bless!

We are carefully watching the weather for our Sunday morning service. Stay tuned to our page, check your email if you are on our email list, or check our website to see if we are having service Sunday morning at 9:15am. Either way, if you feel it is unsafe, we always record our service and will have it online to watch later Sunday evening. May the Lord keep you all safe and warm this weekend.

The Race of Your Life

Rejoice in the Lord as you run the race.
Be anxious for nothing for God gives you grace.
With prayer and Thanksgiving tell God what you need.
And you will have peace if to Jesus you heed.

For the race of your life can be won or be lost.
How will you run it? What will it cost?
Who'll be your trainer to coach you along
To say if you're doing what's right or what's wrong?

You can run with those who will cause you to fall.
Or turn to Jesus and answer His call.
He died for our sin and knows all we have done.
And rose from the grave with the victory won.

I needed a Savior because I'm a sinner.
So I trusted Jesus and now I'm a winner.
The race set before me is already won,
But that cannot stop me. I still have to run.

Jesus, my coach, has been watching my time
Till I cross over that great finish line.
The prize that awaits me then will be given;
New life with my Savior, resting in heaven.

After being out on the streets and highways tonight, I do not feel it would be safe for us to have church in the morning. Especially for those coming from out of town.
Therefore, we will not be having our morning 9:15 service this Sunday, November 30th.
However, LORD willing, I will be doing the sermon live-streamed here on Facebook at that time, 9:15am. (assuming I can get the system working)

No matter what, be safe. Don't drive anywhere if you do not feel comfortable. It's not your time to meet Jesus just yet.

God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
He is our peaceful refuge when we simply give our troubles to Him. We can trust Him to take care of any issues that we face.
However, we must be willing to let go of the issue entirely and let Him work it out His way. That can be hard for us. We have in mind how we want the issue solved. But God's ways are not our ways. Are you ready to let Him take care of things His way? Even if you don't understand it? His love for you is so great, He will never fail you; you will never be disappointed.
Let the issue go, give it to God, and let Him solve it His way, without trying to step in and "help Him".
I promise you, it will be better than anything you or I could ever come up with.
