Check out our sermon from yesterday!

As we transition between two different sermon series, Pastor Geoff took this week to talk about navigating transitions in our lives. We will all go through different types of transitions in life and we want to navigate those in a Christlike way. Pastor Geoff talked about the beginning of the book of Joshua when Joshua was installed as the new leader of the Israelites. During this leadership transition God promised Joshua that He would go with Him and would keep His promises. God also instructed Joshua to keep scripture on his heart, and to be strong and courageous. We need to keep those same points in our minds as we navigate the transitions and changes in our lives. But above all else, remember that seasons may change, but God remains.

Check out our final sermon from Nehemiah!

We concluded our series on Nehemiah by talking about living righteously. Simply put, living righteously is living rightly for God. Pastor encouraged us to remember that right relationship with God leads to right living for God. As we keep up our relationship with God we are better prepared to live right for Him. Living rightly for God includes purifying the areas of our life that don't honor God, taking the rest that God has given us, and staying on the path of God in the presence of God. As we wrapped up by recapping all of the "bricks" we talked about in this series, we were reminded that Jesus is at the center of it all. No matter what, it always comes back to Jesus.
